The Dakari water supply is poisoned. Sierra's mission is to find out what is causing it. The Dakari were able to craft a special helm that allows for underwater breathing, but if removed, drowning might occur. Dangerous aquatic life could threaten the mission, so the companions must be on full alert.

Still, what makes you think it is being released this month? I didn't see a release date anywhere. Maybe I didn't look hard enough though.

I think you should inject as much sex, nudity, and erotic shenanigans as you possibly can into this module.

DeleteG3 will probably have more sex, erotic shenanigans, nudity and near nudity than the previous two modules. I haven't had any complaints about the sexual content so far, except people maybe wanting more. I don't want to disappoint, so I plan to deliver more. I do feel that it needs to fit the storyline and not be just constant sex all the time. I think building to a climactic situation, coming back down to earth and then building again later is more interesting. That's why porn doesn't do much for me. It's just in your face with no build and no story behind it.

DeleteI'm personally of the opinion here that there's no need to go crazy. I have no problem with erotic stuff in the module, and will likely choose the paths that lead to it a lot of the time, but I strongly support the notion that it needs context and a place in the story. Sex out of nowhere wouldn't enhance the module IMO, and there's a good chance it might be detrimental to it.

My issue has always been with the idea that fantasy has to hide from sexuality, while allowing virtual genocide without consequence. Not that I'm saying every game has to have sex either. But so many people want to HIDE from it.
How close do you think the module is to completion?
ReplyDeleteI'm projecting early 2013. There's still much to do. A combination of the module being larger and not as much time to work on it as I had on G2 is making it take longer. If it starts delaying too much then I'll release a 2nd preview that starts where the last one leaves off, but I probably won't be at that point until the end of the year.
