Sierra's first battle in an Everdark arena. All battles are to the death, so she's fighting for her life every night. But more important than her own life is pleasing her new master. She doesn't know where these strange, overwhelming desires came from because these qualities are opposite of everything she represents. She's still very much aware of who she is and her mission, but for some reason, she feels that disappointing her master would be worse than death itself. Many bets are being placed in the gallery and very few of the onlookers think that Sierra will survive. But she must... for her master.
It'll be interesting to learn who her master is and if s/he will be one of Sierra's LI's... or if there are any sexytimes involved...
ReplyDeleteAh, I know one track mind. When I think of this, I think of Rizzen from A Dance with Rogues.
It's actually very similar to ADwR. Hopefully there is a big twist in the event.
DeleteI have enjoyed the Gladiatrix modules immensely, but A Dance with Rogues will always be my favoritest ever. It's just a shame that it looks like Part 2 of Rogues won't ever be updated to match Part 1.:*(
DeleteI absolutely adore Braxton for all his bad boy badassery, but even he can't hold a candle to Vico. I know most ADwR fans hate Vico, and so be it. That's their opinion.
Vico was always my favorite in ADwR, and Braxton is my favorite in the Gladiatrix series (although, I'll admit, Tessa comes in very close second). Personally I like the bad boys - the more the better lol.

ReplyDeleteWill be interresting to see how depraved the drow are in the everdark, when considering the surface already has gladiator death matches, monster fights, sex show clubs, slaughter mazes for sport, etc etc. So what by-the-scourges-smelly-bottoms are the drow going to be like!!
Turns out they're actually really nice. They have universal health care, social security, civil rights, the whole she-bang.
