Gladiatrix III - Week 13 Update

I had to backtrack and fill in some gaps since there is so much going on up to the point I'm at. So nothing new at the amazon tribe this week. Here's an encounter with some interesting elephant-man beasts in the Forest of Sorrows.

  1. Interesting screen capture there. Wonder what she is aiming for...

  2. Can we assuming the mod is about 50% done, since Gladiatric II only took 18 weeks to finish? =D

    1. This one is probably only a quarter to a third complete. My summer has been a bit busy so the progress is moving much slower than I'd hoped. I plan to pick up the pace here soon. With any luck it might be close to finished by the end of the year. It might be early next year. It's just hard to predict, but I don't foresee it being complete by the end of the year. This module will also be longer than the last.

  3. cool I've never seen those enemies types before, are they in the main campaign or community created?

    1. I found them in the CEP pack so they must be community created.

  4. Any chance we could get an early release teaser?

I've been wanting to play the strip game bit ever since you posted it however many weeks ago.

    1. I guess I could if you don't mind the module coming to a sudden halt at the point I've designed to. Just give me a couple of weeks because I'm still filling in some gaps. Then I should have a teaser ready. I'll post it here at my blog.

    2. Awesome, that would be great!

I'm completely fine with it just ending as long as I can try out the gard game bit at the tavern.

    3. That would be great! Look forward to it.

And yeah, I also haven't seen those creatures before. Scary! Hopefully won't see nightmares with those things coming after me. :) But it's nice to see some unique and different critters in a mod from time to time.

  5. So that's what happens to amazons that eat the forbidden fruit in the forest! - is it me or do the elephants look female?

    1. They kind of look like overweight man-boobs to me.

  7. Good to see unique creatures being employed. Keep up the wonderful work. :)

And I had to wait what seemed an age for the last part of Aielund, with Princess Criosa in the hands of that vile... ahem. Anyway, we're not cliffhangered, so we can be patient as long as there are updates here to reassure us. ;)

    1. I've never heard of that series. Is it anything like this or A Dance With Rogues?

    2. The Aielund Saga is a series you have to play. No, it's not adult-only, though there is a well-written romance in the plot. But it's a story-driven mod with good characters and a strong central plot, and enough side quests and skill checks to keep you happy (especially after the first mod).

And it's also the only series on the Vault that can take you from Level 1 all the way to Level 37(ish), and make you feel challenged the entire time.

    3. I've played the Aielund saga too. It's my favorite series next to ADWR. Believe it or not, those are the only modules I've ever really played besides a quick look at a couple of others. I started the Prophet series awhile back and that looks very good as well. I can't wait to play it through. Maybe when I finish GIII.

    4. Prophet is a very good series. I played it once with a rogue from Honor Among Thieves, which is a mod set in the same universe from Baldecaran as well. I don't rate it as highly as ADWR or Aielund, but it's very close. And although it isn't 'adult' in any sense, it's very 'mature' in the questions it asks.

    5. I enjoyed A Hunt Through The Dark, where you play a drow.

Used to play a lot of mods, until I came across ADWR some years ago. After that played hardly any save for the updates to ADWR. I remember one where you could gain a castle, and select from several options on how you wanted it decorated.

    6. Are there any other good modules with sex in them? Seems like the pickin's are awfully slim.

  8. which ones have you tried?

    1. A Dance With Rogues, Gladiatrix, and The Wink & Kiss.

There were a few others, but those three were the only good ones.

    2. The only two I've played extensively are ADWR and Aielund Saga. I want to play Prophet all the way through when I get the chance. I've played most of the first part.

I played a little bit of Hunt Through the Underdark and Wink & Kiss but didn't finish them. I tried to play Tortured Hearts II but I couldn't even get out of the first area so I got frustrated and gave up on that one. That's as far as my community module experience goes.
