Members of the Dakari tribe have been plagued with terrifying nightmares of late. The tribe's shaman has managed to open a portal into the dreamscape. Do you dare enter and come face to face with these horrors?
Will be very interesting to see how you interpet a dreamscape. So many possibilities.
Could be a number of areas, each reflecting a different nightmare, almost like a maze you have to find your way through, trying to find the nightmares the barbarians descibe and then following the trail of them to the source.
Could be a landscape of ghostly dreamers walking around seeing something the PC cannot.
Could be the opposite of the enchanted glade and pegasus, where instead it's a rocky landscape with a nightmare steed in charge.
Hi, I've been following your modules from afar, as I don't have much time thanks to uni + my own module. I thought I was going to play them from the beginning this summer (since I only tried the first part), but that plan got delayed.
Thanks for sharing my blog, I really wasn't expecting something like that. :) I sometimes wonder if I'm too late for modding NWN, but I just want to do it...
I guess giving a link to your blog on mine would be pointless, as everyone already knows about it, right?
I'm glad to help spread the word. Your module looks promising! I don't think it's too late for modding on NWN. I've gotten a couple thousand downloads of my series. Maybe not ADWR numbers, but good enough for me. There aren't many of us left who are making large scale modules, so as a designer, it's easier to stand out now even though there are fewer players. The fact that your module is adult will draw even more attention since there is a shortage of modules in that department. I'm looking forward to it when you get it finished.
I concur. I think it's great that others are still modding for NWN. And I believe there are still lots and lots of us who are still hungering for well made modules with adult themes.
So I don't think you're too late at all, Lamb. Hope you continue working on your project! It's great that Gladiatrix 3 and DH are in the works to be released someday -- keeps me stoked to keep playing NWN! Which is truly amazing since I can't remember a game that I consistently play that is 10+ years old.
That is such a good point. Most of my playthroughs, my Sierra has romanced Landon, so I'm also wondering if Sierra, Landon and Tessa meet up with Braxton (with whom my Sierra had a fling with) if there will be any dialogue or accusation of cheating written into the module?
I know in G2, if you are romancing Tessa and have fooled around with Braxton, Tessa doesn't comment about it. She seems to be more of a free-spirit type and will even engage in some fun with Sierra and Braxton in the Cheviot Forest after Braxton tries to bed the priestess. On the other hand, Landon seems to be more of the type who'd have a problem with his lady fooling around with another man.
Remember these questions from the Gladiatrix II Module Design Site:
Will she stay true to a romance she's already formed? Will she discard an old flame for a new one? Will she secretly try to engage in multiple romances?
There are journal entries that go in your private journal when you have intimate relations. These will carry over into G3 and could come into play. Whose ring you have or certain journal entries will at times affect what dialogue appears in conversations.
I'm not really planning on having a system where someone accuses you of cheating. Most of the encounters happen when you are in private, so no one would know you are cheating in most cases. And like Callia said, Tessa is a free spirit and doesn't have a problem with including others in your sexual escapades with her... as long as your character doesn't have a problem.
You can safely carry on multiple secret romances, but eventually you will have to choose who your final romance will be in G3.
I wonder, is there any possibility that the author might add more advanced character customization to the first second and third modules? What I mean is a body tailor that allows you to change things like your head model, skin and hair color, tattoos, breast type, and (although I don't like this myself) wings/tails/pelvis changes for those that would like to pretend they are playing some sort of outsider or even a herm/shemale if they like.
For me the biggest thing would be to change head model and hair/skin color because it makes it easier to do when you are in game rather than in character creation thanks to zoom and camera rotation and such. Plus you wouldn't be limited to what is enabled in the base character creation.
Hi. I don't have any plans to add a customization tool to the modules because most the armor I designed is based on specific body parts.
There is a handy utility that I think will let you do what you are asking. Kamiryn's Character Override Hak will let you choose whatever armor, head, etc. that you want while in game. It will let you scroll through the options. It also allows you to add things such as tails, wings and glowing eyes. Here's the link to it.
I've yet to test it out myself but is it possible to somehow exploit the module and get all the rings so you can have all of the romances simultaneous so I can experience everything without having to replay the series multiple times?
awesome.... a dreamscape sounds FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Sierra and friends are going to have quite an adventure ahead of them!
Just don't touch any lyrium you may come across.

Will any of the Gladiatrix II adult scenes matter in Gladiatrix III? Will anyone comment on them or accuse the main character of cheating?

ReplyDeleteUse console commands. Open the console with the "~" button, and then type:
DeleteDebugMode 1
Move your mouse cursor over some walkable terrain near your character and enter the command
dm_spawnitem "item resref"
the resrefs for the various rings are
"landonsring"
"tessasring"
"kelvynsring"
etc.
When you're finished, enter
DebugMode 0
to turn off debug mode. Enjoy.
Thanks for giving the console commands, o anonymous one :)
DeleteDon't forget that Kristaly's ring is "kristalysring"
There are four total rings.
