Gladiatrix III - Week 10 Update

Your team is nearing the Dakari lands in hopes of forming an alliance with the distant barbarians in the upcoming war with the Scourge. But before they reach their destination, they happen upon the Valtrescans, a tribe of female warriors. They are interested in sport and game and in order to gain their respect your team will have to compete in their arenas.

  • I probably won't get very much done in the upcoming week. I'm leaving for vacation on Friday :)

  3. Given how hot it has been through much of the country, I'd be more inclined to take an Alaska cruise now. :)

Have a great vacation, FR! Perhaps you can still come up with some ideas while relaxing there on the beach. Some of my better ideas have arrived while taking time off.

    Regardless, have a great time!

  4. Does the Valtrescans' sport resemble mud wrestling? :p

    1. Haha I believe I have wrestling down as one of the events. Maybe I'll make it some form of messy wrestling =)

  5. Have a great holiday. Soak up the sun, sea, and *cough*, well have a fun time :)

We'll know if you had a great time, if when you get back, one of the games/contests that the Valtrescans do is laying in the sand in the sun and see who goes brown fastest.

hmm, you could have a test, which involved some forth of damage (either being under the hot sun baking, or holding a burning coal or being whipped) and each round the contestants have the choice to continue or quit. The winner being the last one standing.

The damge done could increase each round too. so round 1 would be 1d6, round 2 2d6, round 3 3d6, etc So as it goes on there is a higher and higher risk of dying (which should help the Player feel the risk to their character and become a stronger test of bravery, rather than just number crunching).

The each NPC could be set to bow out when they go below a certain HP level (different on each one).

In the case where the last competitors all collapse in the same round, the last person to have quit would be the winner (thus bringing in a little bit of strategy - as sometimes quiting at the right time could be a way to win).

  6. If we must battle in the Arena of Sport (TM) you need to have this music playing during the fight. :p

    1. Hi. She's traveling a bit too much in this module to have a chance to defend her title, but she will find herself competing in a couple of arenas on her journeys. She also hasn't had a chance to settle down in one location but maybe by the end of the module.

    2. Ahhh good point :)
I also saw about her family,, which was another thing I had on my mind :) Introducing her LI to her dad would be Very interesting lol.

But I can see that it would be hard to settle down,, but it was a question about near the end. Settleing down and making the choices together would be a nice ending, as so many mods just get to the end and Thats It. But this superb story makes you feel for your character and friends as well as that bond with the LI.
      Tnx Fallyn :D
